Christmas 2007

Our first Christmas together was the best ever!
We started out Christmas Eve at Dereks moms house, had such a good time. She allready seems like another mom to me. Then got home from there and I opened my gift from Derek, diamond earrings... I did all I could not to cry. I had gotten him the cell phone he wanted but his patience ran out and he opened it early. Then Christmas morning woke up went to my moms, then his grandmas, then my grandmas, then back to his moms. Needless to say it was busy but so much fun. We got so much nice stuff from EVERYONE. Thank you everyone who helped make this such a great Christmas. I will say it was hard not having my family here, but thanks to phones we were able to talk, not the same but better then nothing. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

So... the past few months we had talked about taking pics of the big belly I am starting to get, finially I agreed to it. So here for the world to see...

That is 6 1/2 months prego... kinda scares me for whats to come!!

Sad Day...

So the other day I got home from work, took off my sock and shoes and looked down... BAD MISTAKE. The one thing I thought "aww that wont happen to me" yes yes it did. I am getting cankles. I just wanted to start crying... but dident. Its a sad day when you no longer have ankles. Lets hope that they go away as soon as this little thing gets out of me. Oh and to make matters worse, Derek told me my cheeks are getting "chubby" gotta love the man!!

ITS A BOY

Ok... so most of you know or now know that Derek and I are expecting... and if you could not tell by the title of this blog ITS A BOY! We found out a couple weeks ago that its going to be a little boy. I am so excited. Its crazy to know that something is growing inside of you, kind of freaks me out. So far everything has gone way too easy. He is deffiently moving around a lot which is kind of cool to feel. My belly is growing... and growing... and growing. I miss my regular pants lets put it that way. Derek has been great and super helpfull with anything I need or want :)

As of right now baby is due April 3rd.

The first picture is the easiest to figure out... its a face :) Then the second well thats the one that shows its a boy... you can see the little butt a leg, bottom of the foot then the well you know what. The third picture is the fee and what I would say is the hardest to figure out but yes there are two feet there.

Other then that life is good, great actcually.

where has the time gone??

WOW... I look at other peoples blogs and go "they really need to update its been a week" then look at mine and its over a month... guess I am done freaking about about everyone elses. LOL

So whats new??

Well I dont think this will go in any order just as I remember it over the past month. Sometime in Oct. (I think) Jillian, Alan, Danny, Derek and I went to Smiths Green House to the corn maze. It was amazing :) We had such a good time. Here are some pics from that.

Well then to this past weekend which was Halloween...

Well then the best for last...

Last Monday I get a text from Derek asking if we had any plans for Friday... So I text back saying "not that I know of'" he tells me not to make any plans he has some... Derek make plans that scares me. Then I find out we have to dress up so now I am freaking out. What does this man have going on... So I figure like jeans and a sweater.. thats dressy for Derek and I. Talked to him about it and nope... its like suit and tie dressy so now I freak even more. Call Nicole and tell her we need to shop. So we shop find a few outfits and back home I go. Its now Friday and I still have no idea what the heck is going on. I leave work early get home to him all dressed and ready to go. I get ready... (after trying on 20 outfits) and we head out. Have a quick dinner at Noodles and Company. Get back on the road and now we are downtown Milwaukee... still clueless we show up at the Milwaukee Theatre. Still clueless Shelli is now more confused then ever. Derek at a theatre?? I knew that Lion King was going to be there but not till November and that Rent was going to be in Madison at the end of November... but what the hell was going on now?? So finially he says "do you wanna know why we are here?" Of course at this point in time I am freaking out wanting to know whats going on... So I say "yeah" He looks at me and says "RENT" I got tears in my eyes and just hugged and kissed him. We get inside and just walked around took some pics then the show started... and WOW it was great.. I could not have had a more perfect night. Thank you so much Derek for being you.. I LOVE YOU

IDAHO

Well from 9-6-07 to 9-11-07 I was out in Idaho by my family. It was so nice to see all of them. You dont realize how much you miss them till you see them and live day to day with them. I got to hang out with Brett a lot that was fun. Him and I went hicking it was cool, we went up the MT. it was cool was she the "big buck" he really was HUGE. I have a pic but its hard to see so yeah wont go there. LOL. Thats Brett and I after our hike.... Well lets see what else did we do... not a whole lot. The house is so pretty... everything is very pretty. The one thing that kind of sucks is how far away they are from EVERYTHING. Town, a gallon of milk is about 15-20 min away thats crazy. WalMart is about an hour. I would go insane.

The pic of the swing and things is the fire pit, behind those trees is the trout stream... its very pretty and the soud of the water is so nice.

This was a pic of the sunset driving home... let me tell you everynight was beautiful. Thats something I could see and never get sick of it.

Labor Day Weekend....

Well where to begin? Lets see.... I will just start with this past weekend. Friday night we (Derek and I) went out to dinner with the Topels to celebrate Mallorys 8th birthday. We had such a great time out with them. Here are some pics from that....

So that was Friday night... then onto Saturday...

I went over to Nicoles moms for the day. Lisa was having a HUGE rummage sale so I helped with the for a little bit. Then in the evening we had a camp fire outside and made brats hotdogs and smores... it was so fun just to sit and relax. It was nice that Derek got to come meet us out for the camp fire later that night. Then Sunday... ok so I was a little on the lazy side and sleep A LOT. We meet up with Mike and Tera for the Demo Debies. We sat on the hill and got eatten alive by BUGS!! It was a nice night out with friends. It was cool that Zoe got to meet up with us later. For those of you who dont know Zoe is Mikes daughter and I lived with them so I lived with her and yeah... it was just nice to see her. Here is a pic of Derek and I that night.

Well that was Friday, Saturday and Sunday... yeah a busy weekend but thats not all folks.... Monday was Labor Day so we both had off of work and decided to make the best of it. We started out with a very pretty drive up to Spring Green to visit the House on the Rock. I was there when I was a kid and Derek had not been there ever. Its not as I had remembered as a kid, in fact in kind of scared me a little. The place was dark with lots of strange strange things in it. Here are some pics of the House on the Rock. ENJOY :)

The pic of Derek is him standing in the "Infinity Room" it was very high and nothing supporting it, which was kind of cool. The books are a bookcase in the actcual part of the house thats 3 stories tall. When your in the house its very hard to see what it actcually is due to how dark it is. So the flash on the camera came in nice. Last but not least... the other pic is of the merry-go-round. Its HUGE and not one horse on it. If I remember it had over 20,000 lights on it. Very cool... prolly the best thing there.

So... if thats not enough we decided to go to Cave of the Mounds on the way home. Once again I had been there but Derek never had. Here are some pics from that.

There is the pic of Derek and I ... then the next one was MY favorite part of the cave.... it was basically a little cave inside the big cave but just looked very cool... the pic really does nothing for it. Then the third pic is of what they called the "lake"... really its only a few inches deep but looks like it would down forever.

So that was our weekend. Then tuesday back to work it was. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Talk to you all soon.

Ok... everyone else updated this weekend so I guess its my turn.

Since the last time. I went dress shopping with Tera she found a dress and it's so pretty!! I wish I could post a pic but dont think she would like that too much.

This night was out at Lebanon Picnic! We meet Tera and Mike out there for awhile. It was a blast and nice to hang out with them!!

Whats next???

Derek and I went down to Chicago for a day and just bumed around. We had such a nice time just the two of us. Only got lost going home we went through the gettho a couple times... saw some drug deals... rummage sales... it was fun let me tell ya!!

Well.... I dont think there is much else to say now!! Hope everyone is doing well.

Time Flys.....

Well... it seems like years ago since I even looked at my own blog. SO... I figured it was time for some updates.

Lets see... LOTS has changed.

Not all can be mentioned at this time but for those of you who know will understand ;)

Hmm... ok honestly I dont feel like updating right now... its time to hit the road!! I will post some pics next week.

Beach day!!

Last Sunday I picked up Alex, Mallory, and Christian and took them to the beach. I forgot how lucky we are to have such a nice lake in town. We swam... all of us and played in the sand and at the park. It was such a lovely day and I wish it would have never ended. Here are some pictures from our day at the beach!!

While at the beach all the memories of childhood came back. I rember riding my bike down to the beach and staying there for hours on end. Stopping at Sentry to grab something for lunch. We would always use the pay phone to call the opperator to find what time it is so we did not get home late. What I would not give to go back to those days.... just for a day re-live my childhood.

Well my weekend went fast. Saturday really did nothing. Just relaxed. Went to the beach Sunday. Then babysat a little bit went home made dinner and watched a movie. A nice weekend.

Where has the time gone??

WOW
I dont even know where to start so much has happend. Well... I moved. That my big adventure right now. Derek and I moved into a new place together and its going VERY WELL... we both love it.

My family from Cali was here... Cathie, Dylan, Maddie we had so much fun. Went to Six Flags, Wilderness and then our anual trip to Lauras. This year we were there for the 4th of July party. We had a boat perade and food... LOTS OF IT it was just so much fun to spend time with all of them. When they are in Cali I miss them a lot. Here are some pics from their trip here....

Well what comes next? Kathy Selck and I went to the Jefferson County fair to see Madison County. We were out late but I think its safe to say we both had a blast. We meet up with Nick and Nicole later in the evening and went just to the bowling alley. Here are some pics from that adventure... Thanks Kathy for such a great night :)

WOW... I just had such a fun time... wish everyone could have been there to enjoy it with us. I am so glad Nick and Nicole made the drive for just a few hours of drinking... I think they had fun too!!!

Then on to the next best thing... MY BIRTHDAY... most of you know how much I love birthdays so when its your own... LOVE IT EVEN MORE. I was so lucky to go out to lunch with Mick, Kathy and the boys... That made the day all together. They were so sweet and got me flowers, and a cake. I love the card and pic they also gave me. Thanks guys for such a great time. Then well back to work I went. After work my Grandma and Grandpa Puggy came over and my mom and Dave. My mom made a delicious dinner with a great cake to follow!! Here are some pics from last night. Thank you everyone for the phone calls and msgs, or emails wishing me a Happy Birthday made it very special.

Just a little update :)

Well my parents and little brothers have left... they are now in what we call Udaho... its like Utah and Idaho! My dad is working in Utah but their new home is in Idaho so it Udaho... The truck left on Thursday afternoon. I got to spend time with my brothers at the pool on Wed. Here are some pics from that! Thats me on Brians shoulders... hes so proud that he can lift my big body

So the familys gone... but we talk everyday!! I miss the boys a ton. You dont realize it till they are gone. Like my dad always says...they are a drive, plane ride, or phone call away.

I got a new apt. that I will be moving into at the end of the month with Derek. Its a way for us both to get back on our feet. I cant wait.

Cathie and the kids come on Thursday and it will be a weekend of fun in the sun. I cant wait to be able to post pictures from that!

PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS

On a sad note... both fish are dead.... its ok. I am over it. Fernando (blue one) died a couple weeks ago then Hernado (pink one) just died last week. I was taking care of Dan and Taras pets and let mine die... what I do for them. JUST KIDDING GUYS LOVE YOU!!

A few weekends ago I was asked to work at the Sand Bar. I worked Saturday Sunday and Monday. Saturday night after work a few friends came to the Sand Bar. We had a ball... here are some pics from the night at the Sand Bar !!!

That was a night of FUN....
