Trip to CA

We had our trip to CA and of course I did not want to come home :( Parker did very well on the plane ride out there.... our second flight from Chicago to San Diego took a little longer due to the earthquake in the LA area. We had so much fun. Tue, and Wed we just hung out, went swimming shopping all that good stuff. Thursday night the Roedl family went over to my aunt Cathie and uncle Jims house for dinner. It was so neat to have everyone together. We were missing 9 people but they were there in our thoughts. Sammy and Parker got to meet for the first time. Sammy is my cousins baby who is 2 DAYS older then Parker, that was so cute. Here are some pics of the babies

So that leads us to Friday when EVERYONE went to Sea World... talk about fun. It was so nice out and the kids did great. Every show we went to Parker had to fall asleep, so when he did get grouchy we knew it was time for a show... lol

Then Saturday we all went to La Jolla Cove for some family pics. Then out to dinner that night at Chilis then... to the hotel for everyone to swim. Most of the family left on Sunday, but Parker and I stayed untill Monday.

4 Months Old

Well on July 9th Parker turned 4 months, we went to his check up and he weighed in at 14lbs and 4oz which was just into the 5o percentile and was 25in long which is also just into the 50 percentiele. His head however is still up into the 75th, but thats better then last time when it was in the 97th so he is slowley growing into his head! He is getting to be so much fun! Starting to roll over I have heard mama and dada a few times but I dont think he knows he doing it. We started cereal last week, he has been doing SO good on that. I thought maybe it would help him sleep through the night yeah right. I think he is just used to waking up at 2:49 every night! Then at 5:30 is when he is up for the day! Parker loves the water! Really no mater what the temp is he loves it. We went swimming with Dereks sister, brother in-law and mom a few weeks ago, he was so happy. Then we went to Teras moms pool and loved that too. It makes me so happy that he likes to swim, cuz I sure do love it! Well in just over a week Parker and I are heading out to CA for about a week. We are having the Roedl family reunion. I am a little on the nervous side to fly with Parker alone, but we can handle it!! Other than that not much has changed here! Hope everyone is doing well!

True Love

So.... I will say loving your baby is true love. I dont know anyone else that could pee and puke on me and I would love them just the same.

Yesturday... Parker and I were getting ready to go into the shop... I thought hmm... better change his diaper. Well take off the dirty diaper and get the new one ready and what do you know... pee all over the front of me and him. I just look at him and what do I get?? A HUGE smile. Which was kinda funny cuz he was a crabby apple yesturday.

So then this morning... I get dressed and ready for my day... get him all ready for the tubby (once again no diaper on) as I am holding him I feel something wet... sure enough all down the front of me once again wet. So I get him in the tub and dressed and get myself all changed and ready for the day AGAIN and what do you know... we sit at the computer to do some work and my lap is wet again! I look down and sure enough puke all over my leg and on the floor. I tell ya! So now I just put on sweats and said when its time for work I will get ready then. Its crazy and I look at him and love him just the same if not more!! The kid is crazy!

He is growing so fast... everyday he wakes up with a smile and coos.

The las couple nights have been rough for sleeping... I think we may be entering the teething stage. He chews on anything he can. So last night he went to bed at about 9 and sleep till 6:30 this morning! It was GREAT!!

This weekend I will be bartending at the Jefferson County Fair... stop by and say HI!!

On the go!

Well not much has changed. My dad was here, then Cathie and Maddie and Dylan, Dereks sister Rachel is here now. We have been so busy. I have A TON of pics I could post. We went to Noahs Ark (Cathie the kids Laura Chris and I ) went mini golfing ( Roedl family) went to the zoo (Dereks family)! Like I said we have been on the go go go! First Flight.......

Well for those of you who did not know my dad flew in to WI on Sunday June 15th! He is staying with us till Wed. or Thur. then flying his plane back to Idaho. We are so excited that he is here. Last night he took Derek, Parker and I flying around Watertown, Jefferson, Johnson Creek and Lake Mills. I took tons of pics especially of the flooding, here are some of those.

Parker was SO SO GOOD, he LOVED it smiles the entire time, it was just crazy! I thought he would be screaming but nope just a happy baby!!!

Dont really know where this is, its between Watertown and Lake Mills thats all I know :)

So my last post mentioned how I was finially getting sleep.... well the last two nights little stinker butt has woke up at 3am and finished a FULL bottle. So I guess I get up at 3 and not 5, but then he goes back to sleep till about 6 so its still not too bad.
This past weekend we had Virginia and Anthonys wedding to go to. It was SO fun. Here are some pics from that! He was awake and so happy during the ceramony, then sleep through most of dinner and the dance, hes such a good baby we love him so much! This was Parker at the church

So... the first few nights of having Parker home, I got used to the idea of no sleep for a LONG time. I did it, got up with the little stinker EVERY NIGHT usually every two hours... so figure go to bed at about 10, get woken up about 12,2,4,6, yeah you get the idea. Then one night it was every hour so yeah... 10,11,12,1, and so on. Well the one night it was go to bed at 10:00 and did not get up untill 4:45, I thought something was wrong with him, I still got up at 2. Well that lasted a week or so, then it was back to every two hours BUT only for a night... now we got to bed at 9:00 and guess what at not even three months (sorry Kathy) but we sleep till at least 5am if not 6! Usually get up at 2 or 2:30 just to put the nuk back in, but fast asleep as soon as that is in and usually I am fast asleep after that too. So yes, my little guy is pretty much sleeping through the night. Now watch I say that now and it will change but lets hope not! I am getting used to finially getting some sleep back after 2 1/2 months of none!
